entry 3: secret lives! of the freemasons

they were formed in asherville, north carolina after two local bands (a Kiss Before Dying, and Throwing Myself) broke up. their members consisted of vocalist brien worsham, bassist josh carden; drummer travis moss; and guitarists jim debardi, tucker ensley, and justin elrod. they released their first ep (The Cut And Thrust Of Clear Thinking) in early 2004, shortly after they would sign to geoff rickly and astro magnetics.

they would get the chance to preform at warper tour in 2004. preforming with bands like NOFX, MCR, fall out boy, the used, taking back sunday, and many more. (suprising that they got that opportunity so early in their career)

they would go on to release their first (and my favorite from their catalog) album, "this was built to make you dance" in june 2005. they would promote the album by preforming with bands like lovehatehero, he is legend, scary kids scaring kids, and bedlight for blue eyes.

they spent most of 2006 touring with bands like lovehatehero, and recording music. their isn't really much to talk about between 2006-2007 to be honest. they left astro magnetics in 2007, only to join victory records about a month later.

Ithey would release their second, and last album "weekend warriors" in feburary 2008. they would go on a mini tour with he is legend in june 2008 to promote the album. they spent the entirety of august 2008 on tour, before playing their last show in december of that same year. at the tremont music hall, in charlotte, north carolina.
