my favorite band of all time. they first started making music together in Blacksburg, Virginia in 2001. the members were Chris Shephard (guitar), Garrett Berneche (guitar), Billy Chubb (bass), Phil Williams (vocals), and Paul Dempshur (drums). they went on to make a demo ep later that year, that demo hasn't been posted online yet...sadly :(
in 2002, their drummer Paul Dempshur left the band, he was replaced by Tanner Boyle soon after. they began touring around the east coast, and the midwest.
they would sign to tribunal records in 2003. joining bands like KILLWHITNEYDEAD, from autumn to ashes, atreyu, he is legend, swift, and many others. they would release their debut album "maybe we should run" later in 2003. they would relocate to harrisonburg, virginia. they also had their first fully self-booked tour later that year.
in 2004, they released one of my favorite albums of all time. "Hold Fast the Summer" it was produced by Andreas Magnussen in richmond, virginia. after the release. their drummer Tanner Boyle, and their guitarist Chris Shephard left the band to pursue other projects. they were replaced by Brendan Murray and Shawn Witt. they would relocate for the 2nd time. this time moving to richmond. they would finish their tour and go on to break up after their last 3 concerts in Washington, DC. Richmond, Virginia. and the place that it all started. Blacksburg, Virginia.
the former members of the band would go on to join bands like Olympia, Worn In Red, and The Riot Before.
