help.me.please.

the first time i played pokemon go..it was because i had a seizure and i was stuck in a hospital for 2 weeks with nothing else to do, and i heard somewhere(i forgot where) that ur more likely to encounter better pokemon if you are in a hospital.

long story short, i didn't get anything.

so i stopped playing the game for like 5 years.

in december i just got a new phone, it didn't have shit on it so i was downloading a bunch of apps. then i saw pokemon go, i said "damn, that game still exists?" so i downloaded it...why the fuck am i making this sound so important lmao

and i rarely played it until around a month ago

i was bored one day during school, so i decided to play it while i was walking around..i didn't catch shit

one week later i did my first raid, for solgaleo...AND I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO PUT THE GAME DOWN SINCE.

one week later they had one of their biggest events of all time, all i did that week was 1: watch videos about pokemon go, and 2:...play pokemon go lol

i caught a bunch of good pokemon like shadow lugia (if u don't know shadow pokemon they are basically pokemon taken over by the team rocket spirit or something idk they are just evil, but they deal 20% more damage than non-shadow pokemon, so they're widely considered to be better than their non-shadow counterparts), shadow ho-oh, kyogre, groudon, origin forme palkia, kyurem, and reshiram(WHICH WAS SHINY YEAHHH!!!) all of them are like top 10-15 pokemon at their specific typing in the game btw.

i was about to start playing it less...than the 30th anniversary event got announced.

and guess what? THEY JUST HAD TO HAVE MY FAVORITE POKEMON OF ALL TIME(darkrai) INTO RAIDS

it started at 10am...but technically if i joined somebodies raid from japan i could do it at 10pm (yes ik im a nerd)

and i needed 200 coins to get a remote raid pass..so i played the game non-stop to get the 200 coins lol

and i got it..i named him epiales(the god of nightmares in uh..ancient rome or something i don't know lmao)

the event was ass for me though lol, i only was able to to 3 other raids..and out of those i only caught 1 of them

so now i'm here..i play the game only because i have nothing better to do, so i might as well just try and collect as many pokemon as i can
