why are politics in literally EVERYTHING now

by the way i just wanted to preface this before i say anything else. i am NOT "right" or "left" im none of that shit. im most likely just a depressed centrist that leans ever so slightly to the left on some things.
literally every. single. time i go into a comment section anywhere, if i scroll for like 10 seconds i'll see somebody talking about some bullshit i didn't want to see.
trying to watch a tech video? i have to learn about ice almost fucking killing a 16 year old and then selling his phone.
watching a video about food? i see a whole 30 comment thread of people debating if fucking "seed oils" were made by the left to poison people.
even something like the epstein files, people are trying to make it about "oh your guy's in the files" and "your guys in it too so it doesn't matter" BRO EVERYBODY FROM EVERY POLITICAL SIDE ACROSS THE FUCKING WORLD IS PROBABLY IN IT. FUCK ALL OF THEM. i don't know why (or how) people just live with this attitude of "you have to agree with everything i say and push onto you. if not that i hope you die" just shut the fuck up nobody wants to hear that shit.
it's not even just online too. my mom was driving me to get my hair cut like a month ago, and a WHOLE STREET she drove through was covered with polictal shit. i don't remember exactly what it was, but i remember it was just like some anti-vax shit.
and like 2 days ago i saw a comment saying "north is the worst place on earth" ....i would like to see you survive for a month in russia lmao i didn't make this to sound like i don't care about people at the top being weirdos, or the fact that the united states is doing fucked up things. im just saying that it would likely be fucked up even if kamala won, it would just be in a different way. they are all fucked up. the only way(s) things could be even CLOSE to normal in my opinion is 1: a party that isn't extreme on either side actually getting popular. or 2: a ranked choice system from 1-3, as it punishes parties for being extremist from either side, as it alienates most of the country wide audience. leading to you getting less votes from the general public. which would leads to things atleast being a little more normal. that probably won't happen though.
and one last thing. i just feel like the whole "us vs them" mentality that i've seen all over the internet is just one GIGANTIC fucked up case of tribalism, and that's a whole nother topic for another day lmao
